I look everyday, but I still have not seen a monarch. I know that they are around because I found milkweed over the memorial day weekend and yes there were monarch eggs on the leaves. So I took the precious leaves with eggs, put them in a safe environment and viola, I have 4 little monarch larvae. They are growing everyday. I have plenty of milkweed to keep them satisfied.
In a week or so, they should mature and I will at last see my first adult monarch of the 2009 season.
